They said the charge was pending (it was put through when my husband was talking to the hotel the first time) and couldn't dispute until it was completed. I was told the same thing, I could cancel but there would be no refund. I called them back after confirming the cancellation policy in my email. My confirmation email said "Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the date of arrival by 6 PM to avoid a charge of the first night." The hotel couldn't find the reservation at first, then they told him the booking was a special 7 day advance purchase prepaid rate and they would be able to cancel, but there would be no refund. My husband tried to cancel it 5 days in advance due to work obligations. I reserved a room in July for a booking in November. ![]() I can give a review of how difficult it is to cancel a reservation. ![]() To be fair, I can't give any review of the hotel.
